What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

All the blocks in this project file, and others which have the EQ prefix, are designs direct from the Electric Quilt Block Library. Though i have to admit that I did play with one of the blocks. The centre block in the design above is from the library, which I divided to make four corner blocks. Well, one corner block which I can turn around to use in four corners.

I like the first design as there is is room for quilting to provide interesting texture.

     A couple of years ago (grimace), a woman at my quilt guild gave me a plastic shoe box filled with 2" scrap stripe squares. She knew I loved stripes (for bindings) and knew I loved scraps. The box was pretty full. I started to sew 9 patch blocks as leader enders. I tried a dark stripe center and then a light stripe center.
